Concert series Hidden Gems was founded by Anna Ovsyanikova in central London. In the concerts musicians play rarely performed but brilliant classical music pieces. These concerts take place in a beautiful church St Mary Le Strand – somewhat a hidden gem itself – and highlight the music that’s often overlooked: music by female composers (including living ones), creative arrangements of the beloved operas and composers from Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia. Anna herself performs on the violin at these concerts, alongside top London musicians most often from Royal Opera House.
